Why a daily journal?

Superintelligence Core is a daily journal about superintelligence, meaning systems that would match or exceed human ability across nearly every intellectual task. It is not a company and it sells nothing. It exists to think clearly, in public, about what may be the most consequential technology we ever build.

Each essay takes one idea and follows it carefully:

• The research. What current systems can and cannot do, and how that is measured.
• The risks. Alignment, control, misuse, and the failure modes worth taking seriously.
• The questions. Economics, governance, philosophy, and what a good outcome looks like.

How it is made

Essays are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then reviewed and published once a day. Where a claim rests on a source, the essay names it. Corrections are welcome and are applied to the original article, with its update date shown.
